Kathy joined Kurz Group in 1992 having previously worked as a Customer Service Manager at the Dallas Central Appraisal District for 6 years. Kathy is in charge of residential property appeals, tax bill collection & auditing, as well as all aspects of the office management. She is also the liaison for Kurz Group with NAPTAG affiliates throughout the country. Kathy is a licensed Property Tax Consultant; a current member of the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO); and a current member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP).

Erol began his career in property tax consulting in 1990 and has represented property owners in property tax appeal settlements throughout Texas and the United States. Joining Kurz Group in 1993, Erol specializes in all levels of commercial real estate appeal representation, including complex cases. In addition to client representation involving compliance and appeal of commercial real estate and business personal property, he played a crucial role in the development and integration of the analytical tools and materials currently used in all appeal/negotiation processes for Kurz Group. Erol is a licensed Senior Property Tax Consultant; a current member of the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO); and a current member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP).

LaVada began her career in property tax in 1987. Prior to joining Kurz Group in 1999, she spent 12 years with the Dallas Central Appraisal District in the Personal Property Department as a Business Personal Property Supervisor, as well as the Utility Appraiser performing ad valorem utility appraisals for all utilities in the Dallas County. Her areas of expertise include national business personal property compliance, negotiations & appeals, aircraft valuation & appeals, Freeport exemptions, and abatement compliance. In 1988, LaVada received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance degree from the University of Texas - Dallas. She is a licensed Senior Property Tax Consultant; a current member of the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO); and a current member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP).

Laura began her career in property tax in 1991. Prior to joining Kurz Group in 2001, she spent 10 years with the Dallas Central Appraisal District. She possesses knowledge in all aspects of ad valorem taxation and appraisal district operations. Laura′s areas of expertise include national business personal property compliance, negotiations & appeals, aircraft valuation & appeals, Freeport exemptions, and abatement compliance. She is a licensed Property Tax Consultant; a current member of the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO); and a current member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP).

Clint has been involved in property tax since 1991. Prior to joining Kurz Group in 2001, he spent 10 years with the Dallas Central Appraisal District in the Commercial Real Estate Department as a Senior Appraiser. Clint′s areas of expertise include commercial real estate tax appeals, negotiations, and representation in the state of Texas. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 1989. Clint is a licensed Property Tax Consultant; a current member of the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO); and a current member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP).

Mark has over 20 years of property management and development experience in commercial, industrial, medical, and retail assets. Prior to joining Kurz Group in 2006, he was Regional Vice President of the Burr Wolff/North Texas Region for 9 years. Mark also has been the Vice President of Mediplex Property Management, a developer of medical office buildings and outpatient facilities; and a Property Manager for Trammel Crow Company, a developer/manager of commercial real estate assets. Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Oklahoma State University. He is a licensed Property Tax Consultant; a Texas Real Estate Broker; a certified Real Property Administrator (RPA); a current member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT); and a current member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP).

Jennifer has been involved in property tax since 2000. Prior to joining Kurz Group in 2010, she spent 10 years at the Dallas Central Appraisal District in the Business Personal Property Division as a Senior Staff Appraiser. Jennifer’s areas of expertise include national business personal property compliance, negotiation and appeals, aircraft valuation and appeals, Freeport exemptions, and abatement compliance. In 2007, she received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas. Jennifer is a licensed Property Tax Consultant; a current member of the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO); a current member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP); and a member of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
