In the first quarter of 2019 Dallas – Fort Worth topped the US warehouse building market and continues to stay number one now. Big companies such as Amazon, Wayfair and Walmart, to name a few, are big contributors to the warehouse spaces. Question is can DFW continue to top other areas in the US?

According to Dallas News, “About 45 percent of the industrial space being built in D-FW is leased, higher than the national preleasing average of almost 37 percent.Nationwide, 274 million square feet of industrial space was being constructed in the first quarter.”

Even with all the new warehouses being built in DFW the vacancy rate is actually higher than the average nationwide.
