Dallas Loses Ground in Second Quarter

 In BLOG

Dallas has said to have been the only top ten metro areas to have lost ground in the second quarter according to Dallas Business Journal.

In this quarter the vacancy rates of local offices were slightly higher and the absorption was in the negatives. Dallas Fort-Worth has vacated and newly constructed spaces that have not been leased.

The amount of office space under construction has also dropped significantly since last year. Dallas Business Journal says the last big construction project for North Dallas was Liberty Mutual’s 1.1 million square foot campus. Since then, Uptown/Turtle Creek is the new go to area for the construction market.
