Dallas Reverse Commuters Stop Seeing the Difference

Reverse commuters are people who often live in the city and work in the suburbs. These people normally are faced with significantly shorter drive times, because most commute from the suburbs to the city. The theory in North Texas, does not quite live up to those expectations.

According to NBCDFW, Dallas reverse commuting is up by twelve percent. In smaller cities one could expect their commute to be cut dramatically when driving in the opposite direction of traffic, especially during rush hour. However, Dallas commuters say they hardly see a difference.

The reverse commuters are also increasing in cities like Houston and Atlanta. Public transit is expected to be more backed up no matter what direction commuters take. To view video on this topic click here.
