DFW Warehouse Market Expected to Break Records

The warehouse market continues to grow in the third quarter of 2018. Dallas News says 19 million square feet of warehouse space is being built which is equivalent to about a dozen downtown Dallas skyscrapers.

North Texas is up about 0.5 million square feet in net industrial building leasing from last year.

In 2018, companies have moved into more than 17 million square feet of additional warehouse space and we are expected to exceed over 20 million square feet in net occupancy gains, according to Dallas News.

Vacancy rates are also lower causing rent rates to increase in some submarkets.
