DFW’s Demand for Industrial Buildings Increased the Prices

Industrial building prices in Dallas-Fort Worth are continuing to increase, due to the constant growth of the industrial market in the area.  Dallas-Fort Worth is actually a top industrial market in the country and has the largest increase in prices.

According to The Dallas Morning News, “Average Dallas warehouse prices have risen 20% in the last year, thanks to near record leasing from expanding e-commerce and consumer products firms.” Others areas that are seeing an increase in warehouse building prices are:

  • New York
  • Northern New Jersey
  • Miami
  • Southern California

Investors are intrigued by Dallas-Fort Worth area by the strong population growth and the range of industrial spaces. The Dallas Morning News states “A record 27 million square feet of industrial and warehouse buildings were under construction in the Dallas-Fort Worth area at the end of the third quarter. And through the first nine months of the year, D-FW’s net industrial building leasing has totaled almost 16 million square feet.”
