Warehouse Construction Breaks New Record for DFW

Dallas-Fort Worth’s warehouse construction breaks a record high for the first quarter of 2019. Warehouse space totaled 30.1 million square feet all in the first few months of this year.

Dallas News states, “Most of the new warehouse construction is in the AllianceTexas area north of Fort Worth, near DFW International Airport and in the Great Southwest Industrial district in Grand Prairie and Arlington, according to a new report from Cushman & Wakefield.”

Newly built warehouses are already leased out. A big help filling those spaces are thanks to large companies such as Stanley Black & Decker, Ashley Furniture, and Thirty-One Gifts.
